Cortland puts out some of the finest reels around both for
quality and value. My favorite Cortland reel is the LTD graphite. It's the
lightest reel I've seen that will hold together under the stress of day to
day fishing. The LTD comes in 2 sizes. The model 60 will hold 4 and 5
weight lines and the model 80 is great for 6 and 7 weights.

Cortland is now the exclusive US outlet for STH reels. Made
in Argentina, the STHs feature strong disc drags and the exclusive STH
cassette system, which allows multiple lines to be stored on cassettes and
changed over in a really short time. These are great guide reels because
they can be changed from right hand to left hand retrieve, including the
line, in under a minute. The IM-POP reel comes in two sizes. The 1.5
handles 4 and 5 weight lines and the 2.0 handles 6 and 7 weights. All
reels come standard with a spare cassette..
